Multinational companies have started to acquire or partner with companies based in Turkey, established with Turkish capital. In this respect, local companies such as Şahlan were forced to compete with world brands in order to preserve their national and domestic qualities. This competition has led many manufacturers to reduce their product quality and services.
As Şahlan, we have always kept our brand value at the level it deserves and being one of the respected institutions in the sector, instead of entering into global competition and reducing our product quality. Together with our dealers abroad, we have tried to spread Turkish goods, especially in the Middle East, where multinational companies have not yet taken an aggressive attitude. We were proud of our national and local formation, we are. Today, the garbage truck or on-board equipment manufacturer, known as a Turkish manufacturer, is completely dependent on foreign hydraulic component manufacturers or is directly related to foreign capital, and Şahlan is at a different point from other manufacturers with its national and domestic stance. Preferring Turkish goods from hydraulic valve to filter, from hard chrome-plated shaft used in hydraulic cylinders to sealing element, Şahlan also pioneers the development of Turkish made spare parts in the products it exports to the world.
