What is Hardox? Why is Hardox important in the garbage truck?

We all know Swedish steel. It has always been important throughout history due to its superior properties. In Norse mythology, Thor's ax was probably made of Swedish steel! It is a company called SSAB that establishes the connection between the garbage truck and the Swedish steel. This company's HARDOX brand is very successful in its field. So much so that most people would rather say HARDOX than wear plate. The process by which a brand turns into a product name is not accidental. Especially in our sector, HARDOX 450 does its job quite well as a wear plate. 

So what is the function of HARDOX 450? LESS WEAR. Why should less wear matter to a garbage truck? If we carried flowers and cotton in garbage trucks, this question would be somewhat fair. However, acidic household wastes and construction wastes such as concrete in countries like Turkey are transported in garbage trucks! In cases where the litter is chemically and physically corrosive in the most extreme condition, it makes sense to use HARDOX as producers! In particular, the lower chamber of the bunker, where the garbage is compressed, and the compression blade are manufactured from HARDOX 450, thus extending the machine life considerably. We demonstrate an extraordinary working efficiency with an extraordinarily hard metal. Instead of HARDOX 450, there are other products that SSAB will recommend. For example HARDOX HiACe; or STRENX series below -60 degrees Celsius.
